About us
Crystal Order Academy (or better known as COA) is an educational group of experienced individuals seeking to train a new breed of Freelancing Specialists with the option to join The Crystal Order and use what they have learnt and gained to assist the twelve realms.Our purpose, goals and dreams are to help keep the twelve realms safe from large threats such: primals, voidsent and other sorts of monstrous beings who seek to bring ruin to us all. Our desire is to be the main line of defence until the cavalry arrives.With that said....are you up for the challenge?
Realm Crystal
A Realm Crystal is of a rather simple design but a complicated process. These were created in hopes of helping strong-willed members of Eorzea and Norvrandt to travel between one another. Hopefully, in the future, many more new realms, the creator Kiruna's sole purpose was to bless those deemed worthy by the crystal order leaders to have a small piece of her World Tree and power.

Restrictions:This Item has up to 10 charges which will allow you to teleport anywhere, once those charges run out you must charge them again.
The World Tree
World Tree: The world tree is one of the few mysteries that come with the caretaker Kiruna. Its purpose and potential are still unknown but so far, what has been confirmed is it is the gateway, the link the crystal order has between Eorzea and other worlds. The rest remains a mystery. Only its caretaker knows the answers too.
Location:The basement of the Academy.Chamber rules:This room within the FC is restricted. Only those with the caretaker's permission may use it to travel between realms.The room will be locked until it is required to be opened.Oocly you must ask GM Salina Sagahl to allow travel for a class or story arc.
Crystal Order
Though knights in title, their true calling is defenders of Alternate realms. Transporting from realm to realm assisting those in need from any ill will, whatever it may be, from dark corruption to simple local troubles, their duties are to the order and the people. Unlike traditional knights, they do not all come from noble birth. Rather, they come from the realms themselves, true protectors of the world willing to stand up for what's right even if it costs them their lives.

Previous Caretakers of the Tree.
Kiruna Windspear: The former caretaker of the crystal tree and one of the founding mothers of the Crystal Order, Kiruna had spent most of her life keeping balance within the World Tree and even went as far as seeking out champions for her to call upon to send out to other realms to gain things she needed, now after foreseeing a future that requires to much of her she formed a plan to fix that.
Kiria Cristallin: A young Miqo’te/ Mystel woman that has taken forth the role of Caretaker, an important job that only a singular person can fully maintain after the original Caretaker has passed her powers and knowledge onto her successor, the young woman plans to live up and go beyond what has been passed down to her and expand the horizon for the crystal order any which way she can. Sadly the young Miqo'te has set off on her own adventure, leaving behind reassurance that the tree will be maintained.
Crystal Order Divisions
The Crystal Order purpose is to bring all types of adventure’s, knights, mages, crafters and more to rally as one and work together to bring help and assistance to the twelve realms that need it. Whether it be facing off against primals of a lesser class, or fighting voidsent and sin eaters alike for the betterment of tomorrow, nothing is impossible only improbable and with a new dawn upon the realms so shall a new tree be sown.
Tech Division
Members in this division are called Crystal Techs. This division is themed around the more tech/support/crafter types their purpose is to design, make and experiment on different types of projects such as weapons, armor, mech suits and more. Whenever something need to be made or crafted, the members of this division will be more than capable of creating and repairing whats in need.
Knight Division
Members in this division are called Crystal Knights. This division is themed around the more combat-desiring peeps and those that are engraved in combat. Though all divisions can fight, the knights are best suited to handling dangerous missions. Though not restricted to being purely on combat, the members here are protectors as well. Defending our homes and the academy from any threat.
Research Division
Members in this division are called Crystal Scouts. This division is for those that want to focus on more than one type of task. These members are explorers, thrill-seekers, and scouts of the order. The primary person is to seek out information and data rather it be for new discoveries or information on an opposing force.
Diplomatic Division
Members in this division are called The Council of Crystal. This division is for those who prefer to use their heads more than anything else, its sole purpose is to branch out and make connections all over the realms. After all not everything issue can be solved with violence. Sometimes a silver tongue is in order to settle disputes and keep up with alliances. Members here handle the diplomatic side of the order and keep up with promises, trades, and goodwill with the grand company.
Medic Division
Members in this division are called Quartz. As self-explanatory this division is, the important remains true. Members of this division make sure that every member rather they from the order or from the academy is well than taken care of. Making sure that members stay alive in combat and dangerous situations, taking care of ailments, and generally making sure nobody dies.
Student housing
The academy is dedicated to making sure the students feel at home! There are barracks for students to sleep in, restrooms, and so on. However, in this academy is some Friendly competition between the students. A way to form a sense of teamwork and cooperation is used early on. Student housing is designed for a place where students will feel belonged and tag along with like-minded individuals. Though the houses are in competition with each other, they are still students working for the same goal. It's often time asked that the students don't take the competition too seriously as it's only a means for everyone to do better.
Freshman
Freshman is well... as litterally as it states. New student of the academy. No titles, no house representation, just started your journey with us. It is up to you your way up and earn your spot in one of the two houses!How do you do that, you may ask? Simple! all you have to do is participate in guild events such as classes and guild excursions for one week! A total of 5 will make you be able to be sorted into one of the houses!This rank will also allow you to get familiar with the guild and other members! It's a great starting point to see if this is really a place to call home!
House Agate
There are two houses in this guild. This one is House Agate! Their animal representation is that of a dragon and their color is black. Fearless in their ambitions their goal, yet they can also be empathetic to their own kind. This house dedicates to protecting their fellow brothers and sister. Willing to assist in any manner they possibly can do. They are more than willing to do what is what's right and follow their heart.
House Chrome
There are two houses in this guild. This one is House Chrome! Their animal representation is that of an owl and their color is white. Taking a more subtle approach to issues, they welcome the night and humbly appreciate their quiet solitude. This house is intelligent, deceiving, and prefers to use tactics and reason to solve its problems. They may be the silent/shy types, but definitely, the ones to watch out for.

1. no ERP on campus!
We take our theme very seriously. We want people to focus on their character and improvement through rp. if you are an erper then that is okay but please understand and respect that we aren't an erp guild so no public ERP in or around campus or on the discord. there is no erp in the private chambers, all the chambers but one is Public so please respect the fact that you are sharing with everyone else.
2. Communication.
Communication is very important to us all, without it, misunderstandings and other factors happen which can lead to drama and we do not want that here.So remember to communicate with each other and if you have a problem or something is happening in the guild please, Please tell an officer or GM, we can't keep track of everything as much as we would like too, even with all our eyes things will slip under our noses.So please if there is anything you wish to talk about such as, suggestions, drama, OOC advice about your character or question, please do not be afraid to talk with us we are here for a reason and we can't detect everything that goes wrong or overlooked we are human after all, so please contact one of us so we can help and express the issue in a Respectful and Calm manner.
3. Respect.
Respect is the most important thing to society, it is a sign of admiration and many other things, it is indeed earnt but within a community, some level of it is needed to keep a group healthy, we will not tolerate disrespect to one another whether you are joking or not.Respect and treat your leaders and fellow members like you would want them to do you, if you don't then understand that you will be removed from the guild without a second thought.Not only do you need to respect others but you do need to respect the rules of the guild as well, within this guild our rules are this free company's law, so do respect them or risk losing your home with us.
4. Inactivity time limit.
We all dislike seeing a guild being empty with little to no one online so to help fix that we have a one-month time limit, if you are inactive within one month of joining this guild without telling an officer or GM the reason why you are or going away you will be removed from the guild for one week. during this week we will send a message requesting you to inform us if everything is well and if you will be returning to the guild, if you don't inform us by Sunday that week you will not be able to rejoin and your place will be given to someone else.We all have other things we would like to do, play other games, and just have a chill time enjoying life but Communication is a must-have thing, if you do not communicate with us how are we to know what to do? So if we do not hear from you during the one month of joining or the one week of double-checking that you will not return then I'm sorry you have left us with no choice, so please inform leadership if you are unable to be around, you don't need to go into detail just say it's IRL stuff or something else, it's all we ask.
5. Officer/GM warnings.
We don't have strikes in this guild we don't give second chances if an officer tells you to step away from a situation 3 times and you refuse to you will be removed from the guild without a second thought.If a GM tells you 3 times to step away from the situation and you don't, you will be removed without a second thought.
6 Attendance.
Attendance, much like inactivity, if attendance to some guild events is low then please understand it will be taken as a sign of disinterest, we cannot force you to attend something but we would hope you would make time to do so, as we are going out of our way and within our own free time to give you an rp experience. So please respect that and treat our time like you would a 'gift'.
7. Keep drama out!
Now, this one rule is a common one and the one that gets broken the most and this is what I have to say about it. Keep. It. Out! It is not welcome here, if you have an issue with someone then you take it to DM's, leadership will not have it, our discord is drama-free! And so is the in-game FC chat!Once drama starts contact an officer/ or GM immediately, no, ifs, and or buts! If a GM or officer is not dealing with the situation right away then someone please contact them in a Calm and Respectful manner.If the situation is not defused once an officer or GM or both has entered the situation prepare for those that created the drama to be removed no matter who started it.Whether it is a teen or an adult if an officer or GM tells you to step away and neither party listens it's an instant kick, we are a community and if no one can learn to handle themselves over a simple comment or opinion is not welcomed here.Everyone has a right to state their beliefs as long as they are being respectful to another person and if that blows up because someone got offended then it will not be tolerated.Under no circumstances will drama be tolerated, be it a close friend or a newly-formed one, everyone will be treated like you would want to be treated yourself.
8. Event Planning.
We all get idea's for things we want to do or make ourselves, whether it be campaigns for the guild or our own story arcs that we wish to share with everyone!That being said planning is a big part of this and with that, we ask that if you are planning on making an event you must, and we mean MUST tell a GM what you wish to do so we can help work with you in working around the guilds normal schedule if you fail to contact a GM about you plans or wishes please inform an officer with all the information they need to relay it to a GM so they can get back to you and give you the green light!
9. Trust and Privacy
Trust isn’t a given it is earned but in this guild, it’s given as everyone that enters our guild becomes a part of our ffxiv family and with family comes trust so we trust each other to keep the peace, follow the rules and respect one another and just have fun. Another thing that comes with it is privacy, by entering this guild and joining our family you’ve accepted a sort of signed deal that allows you to enter a private discord that can only be accessed through application, which means whatever important ooc things we say or do in this guild remains in this guild, spreading information that isn’t for the public eye outside of our group is not welcomed here as it brings forth misunderstandings and drama for no reason whatsoever, spreading information about public guild rp events is a different thing to share but important warnings and messages are strictly for the guild and only the guild eye’s, if the privacy and trust rule is broken you will be removed without a second thought.
SMALL INFO
1. Private Chambers.
This is a rule but a small one, private chambers aren't welcome within the guild unless you are in a rank that grants you such a thing.Private chambers in this guild are like a reward/ privilege for the rank of FACULTY, Head FACULY, and CRYSTAL ORDER MEMBERS! if you are not in any of these ranks then Do Not build a private room.If you are seen with a private room and are not in the list of ranks above you will be asked to demolish it and your money will be given back to you provided by an officer or a GM, if you refuse it will lead to you being removed for not respecting the concept of the guild and how we run things.This guild all in all an academy, not a tavern, inn, or any other theme.
2. Alts
Alts, we all have them, we all love them, some of us have an addiction to them but by the end of the day, they can be quite bad for a guild, forgetting who is who, the guild being populated by nothing but alts.
which is why we have a 2 alt limit, this means you can have an alt as a student and a teacher or both as teachers or students.Alts under the rank of GM Alts are the only exception as they are holders for the guilds public rooms.
3. RP Hub
This guild is not only a guild that you can join and carry our name but it is also opened for anyone and everyone to participate in without even joining! we are a guild and rp hub! those from outside or other guilds or even other servers are welcomed to icly be apart of this guild, join in our sessions, be students, teachers, etc! it creates a whole new experience and more friends to make!
